By using the MatchFix website, joining the waitlist, or participating in early access, you agree to these terms. Full marketplace terms will apply when the service launches broadly.
The service
MatchFix is an AI-assisted marketplace that connects clients (people who need local services) with providers (independent professionals). Features, availability, and pricing may change during early access. Waitlist signup does not guarantee access.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate account and profile information.
- Use visit chat and job materials only for legitimate coordination about booked work.
- Providers are responsible for maintaining valid credentials and licenses required for their trade and location.
- Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, or submit unlawful content.
Payments
When available in the app, payments are processed by Stripe. MatchFix facilitates booking and payment holds; providers are independent contractors, not employees of MatchFix.
For booked work, the client pays the agreed visit price. MatchFix charges a light platform fee of 6.5%. Stripe card processing (typically about 2.9% + $0.30 in the U.S.) is separate. Clients authorize the visit total; providers see an estimated payout when they accept work or propose a price. Fees may change with notice in the app or these terms.
